New Camera and New Ride
Joe has a new underwater camera that he tested out with Zach. We also now have a Kawasaki Mule to drive around the project. It is not the most reliable but it sure beats hoofing it!

Isla is in Love
Isla’s boyfriend is Elliot. He is four and she thinks he is amazing. When they are on the boat to school together she turns around and puts out her hand and says “touch me.” When he comes over to our house she says “Elliot can share my toothbrush.” She holds his hand, she always sits close to him and/or stands close to him. He is so polite to her but he really wishes she would leave him alone. Every once in a while Isla gets so aggressive with her feelings that Elliot hauls off and hits her. She cries for a while, but then she gets over it. How do we teach her that she is not supposed to chase but be chased?

Life at Red Frog
The day we returned from Costa Rica we moved out to Red Frog, the development that Joe is working for. Here is a little photo montage of our daily life. You can click on the photos to make them larger.
- This is Lisa taking kids home after school. Carts rarely work and a lot of times I have a whole weeks worth of groceries to get home. Pain in the Ass!
- Our house is the furthest out, about one mile from marina, logistics, the youth hostel, etc. but only a quarter mile from the beach.
- This is the dining hall for the youth hostel. It is easier for me to hang out here during the day while the kids are at school, than walk home. I am work on our taxes.
- Eight kids from Red Frog go to school everyday. Felo is our boat captain and the kids love him because sometimes he lets them drive.
- Here are the interns outside the Red Frog office in town. They are the life of the project.
- This is the beach bar. The two glass jars behind Isla are where I sell banana breads from. I am making a good little profit with my business.
- Our House in the middle of Jungle – 52 houses only 5 occupied currently. It gets a little lonely at night.

Costa Rica
I haven’t had time to update the blog, but here are a few photos from our trip to Costa Rica. It was FANTASTIC!

Dear Santa
Dear Santa and Reindeer,
I hope that you travel safely and do not land in the water. We are going to Costa Rica for Christmas and hope you are able to find us. We are staying at the Volcano Lodge. After Christmas I hope you get to go to Disneyland. I have been good this year, but sometimes I hit my sister. I will try better. I wish for a space shuttle with a large cockpit to fit a headless horseman in.
Love, Zachary
Dear Santa and Deer at the North Pole,
I have tried to be good this year, but sometimes I pee pee in my class. I am trying to be a big girl.
Love, Isla
P.S. I wish for a butterfly for you.

Photos that Sum it ALL Up
This thanksgiving I have to say that I am thankful for the fantastic families we have met here. There are two families that we seem to be gravitating towards and that is the two Red Frog families. They both sailed with us on Zach’s birthday and one is a very good photographer. Thank god she took these photos. Zach’s blond hair returning, Joe’s really long hair and my hair in ponytails says more than anything I could write. Thank you Diem!!!!!
